Check out the list of approved appliances before arriving. The University Store on University Place sells a number of approved appliances, from lamps to coffee makers, and you can also check out Target and Walmart. Fire safety conducts random dorm visits, and may confiscate unapproved appliances. You can rent microfridges, refrigerators, and televisions on-campus that can be delivered to your dorm in September and removed in May.
